A game of tag …
So, Melanie tagged me and I’m supposed to write 6 random things about myself …
- Like Mel, I love to go to bed early. I love even more to get up early. And when I sleep in, that means I make it to the 7s.
- I function best at my computer with about 12 apps or windows open, switching back and forth between them. I don’t believe in closing a program if I’m going to use it again in the next 12 hours. Jess Hansen used to hate this about me.
- Dishes in the sink, even a solo spoon, send chills up my spine.
- I love to have my nails done … well, I don’t love the actual process of a manicure, but I love having done nails.
- My go-to song on the guitar is either Closer to Fine by Indigo Girls or Martyrs and Thieves by Jennifer Knapp. I almost always play both when I sit down to play.
- I love to go to movies by myself.
So the tag game continues, Garth and Karolyn - you’re up.

I can attest to No. 3.
I remember when I lived with you and residing over the sink was this eerie shadow of fear. Well maybe not a real shadow, but nonetheless I was scared to leave anything, even a crumb, in the kitchen sink. I tried to create such a presence in the last house I lived at but it never seemed to work.

#2 also drives me insane, reed does that too, whenever i was working with him or you i couldn’t look at computer screen, i wanted to slide my fingers over and quit every program.
and i think you go to bed REALLY early. i love seeing you knocked out before 8pm fully dressed, face down, in the middle of the bed, classic…

It was so great to meet you last night! I love Closer to Fine…seriously, the harmonies in that one are just amazing. On #6….I love to do that too. The best is when you’re alone at a comedy…..and get to laughing out loud. When I do that, then I end up laughing even harder because I start to laugh at myself!

October….I’ve been having withdrawals since October. And they’re not letting up.
